can someone suggest what might be causing the ripples on this picture? this had shown in several of my shots (other shots don't have such noise) when i was at UK fun fair just now. I am using an A40.

also i noticed that all those pictures with the ripples were taken using flash (again, some other pictures taken using flash are flawless). this is the first time i encounter such a problem. anyone can explain?

Erm...can you elaborate on this ripple thinggy?
I don't really see what ripples there are in the picture.

shouldn't be. as i pointed out, other pieces of photos are fine. really don't know how and where all these white spots come from.....puzzling.....

Maybe it's just that your flash illuminated some speck of dust that flew by while you were taking your photo.

it wasn't rain...neither was it very windy...
i just hope it wasn't due to some defects in the camera.......
will observe more in the future. hope it won't occur again!

Probably dust....but otherwise few people would disagree.

Try shooting with flash in an enclosed area....example a shop under renovation...bound to get lots of ripples of many shapes and sizes.

:)

Looks like there are more than 1 moon on that nite. No wonder all the people are watching the sky :D
