What are the spots in the photo?

Hi everyone,

Can anybody please tell me what are the white roundspots in the photo (top portion)? I only see this when I take photos with flash. Camera: IXUS 50.

For photos taken without flash, the pictures are OK. I have seen this phenomena in my friend's IXUS 50 too. (but I am unsure whether the flash was fired).

maybe dust spots......you try taking a pic on a black piece of paper with and without flash and see whether got this problem anot......
