should never open emails from unknown sources. there's always the danger of getting viruses from these emails, other than the useless information.
 

Somehow, still got ppl believe this. I read fr news one guy
happy happy thought he really won a lottery. He replied the
mail. Then the sender asked few hundreds of "Admintration Fees"
in order to have the money transfer to his account.
Then ask some more... and more...

I receive this kind of emails everyday. Wah.. like that I everyday
win a lottery leh...

There is always the delete button.
 

You know its a scam when they start asking you to send them money, however small.

Some scam busters have even reversed the scam on the scammers, asking the scammers to send them $ to get the $.

E.g. lottery for S$1M. Scammer asks victim to send S$10k as processing fee. Scam buster asks scamer to send then S$10 in order for them to be able to send the S$10k. Scammer stupidly sends S$10 and is reversed scammed.
