I also in the oly family but my dc is the c700uz.
goto this site and dnload the dead pixel test proggy. They got instructions how to use too, very easy.

most worth batteries abd charger I found was at AP, the Sanyo 4 hours charger with 4x1700mAH batteries for $40.
8 x GP 1600maH batteries + 16hr charger is sold at $39.90 at Carrefour but I was put off by the fact that they had a S$29.90 sale a while ago (somemore with free backpack) and the 16 hr charging time.
I now also looking for a suitable bag. Might join the next SEED at CP to get a lowepro one.

Mmmm... I think that it could be a pro lor! usually it abt 7 or more then they will change.... but you can try your luck!
