As the title says, and it's for field use so should be rugged. Portable even better! LOL!

Lots of good ones from the US, but shipping alone can kill!

Any suggestions appreciated.

ahhh, but then not all metals (like gold) are attracted by magnet.
CIAS, police, cisco should have oso. Not sure about Immigration tho.

Small magnets, no matter how powerful also no use as you would probably need an electro magnet like those used to lift cars! LOL!

It's needed to find some valuable things that got lost in a field - most probably already buried in some mud after the wet season.
