Hi guys.

prolly someone posted this before. i am asking if anyone went there recently like prolly this week/last week or 2 weeks before.

was wondering if the place is still accessible, main bulidings and structure still there ?

more information provided would be great.

i know the previous few threads mentioned that theres some construction work going on.

hey fella shooters,

the last time i went was on xmas day last year -- the ingress is by the side of the main gate. however, after u clear the first stretch of path, you would see a big pile of mud like someone with a bad stomach.. intentionally there to stall trespassers.

there was a sign saying "private property - no entry" on the main gate. another sign at the mud has a picture of a policeman handpainted with a similar meaning. no security guys around, prolly due to public holiday.

i couldn't venture further due to sandals.. there were no boards or stuff that could bridge the place.. so had 2 turn back.

hope this helps.. but if anyone's up to go there again, do count me in.. i'm not done with that place yet

guys,

do be VERY careful when you go there.
i went there early this year.
my entire timberland boots went into the mud.:bsmilie:
my friend had to pull me out.
it's like a mini quicksand.

then, when you are at the ruins, be very very careful too.
it's in a very sorry state.
if you even intend to venture up to 2nd floor, u have to be careful of the rotten stairs, water, humidity, termites(?) that had almost destroy the steps.

the warnings are there for a reason.
if you want to go there, please go in groups.
at least if you fall from the stairs, you have help nearby.
if you are alone, no one will know until someone reports a horrible stench.:bsmilie:

the last time i was there, there were construction workers.they came and stop me but eventually i told them i just want to take a few pics and the foreman told me ok.He even 'escorted' me around in the house.
so gals, if you intend to go alone, please think twice.

it's next to botanic gardens.you'll see a broken old gate.you'll have to tomb raider your way past the gate, walk a distance before coming to it.

please take extreme caution.
anything happen to you inside there, no one will know.

not the old french embassy.that's the gallop mansion.that one got jaga.
the last time i went exploring with my car there, less than 5 mins police drove in and stopped me.was surprised at their turnaround time.but it seems they were patrolling that area.
i happen to go at a wrong time.

they were extremely friendly though.
