Hi guys, any idea which lenses is the best for wedding shooting?

Check the Canon lens line up. Do you see a wedding lens? Are the white lenses maybe wedding versions? :bsmilie:
The best wedding lens is the lens that serves the local conditions (hint: distance), fits your budget, you know how to handle and which matches the rest of your equipment (hint: flash or not?).
Please search here and put some efforts in. Your question comes up a couple of times each month, whenever some newbie suddenly gets a wedding invitation and is tempted to bring the cam along.

i went to my friend wedding last week.
suprisingly thy used my previous lens...sigma 30mm on 7D....
another 1 thy only use 85mm F1.8 on 5D....
but i prefer i body with UWA lens for wedding...

it depends on ur preference...
since we normally have min 2 photographers...1 is main and 1 is backup..
normally back up is doing candid....

*only my 2 cents*

It really depends on your shooting style, some like to go wide, some like telephoto. Some like zoom, some prime. Some like to shoot wide open, some don't.

But definitely any fast lens (f/2.8 or f/1.4) would be a good choice.

the last wedding i shoot, 10-22 on 550d & sigma 85 1.4 on 5d2...
