Still...I gt this resentment with Singtel playing the big bully and disturbing my peace at least....first was EPL, now it's world cup.... 硬硬要插一角玩... :angry: world cup is near and our seemingly global lion city with 2 casinos, big observatory wheel with F1 super cars zooming under and one of the top sports city being voted....has no idea will Singaporeans ever get to watch the world cup?? :sweat:

Look it this way, SG is consider one of the most wealthy country in Asia. If our neighbor can broadcast it ,why not here? actually the deal is confirm. Only how much both Service provider going to suck us is another thing.

SINGAPORE football fans, here is the news you have been waiting for: The 2010 World Cup broadcasts are on.

Telcos SingTel and StarHub finally came to an agreement on Friday morning with Football Media Services (FMS), the sales agent licensed by football's world governing body Fifa to sell the broadcast rights.

The telcos are expected to jointly screen all 64 World Cup matches 'live'.

Those who sign up with the respective telcos before May 31 will enjoy the early-bird price of $66 ($70.62 with GST). The package is priced at $88 ($94.16 with GST) after May 31.
