Ways of protections

Hi guys. I'm just curious to know from season model photographer how do they protect their online pics from being missuse? watermark them? 2) If taking a model pic 1 to 1, how to prevent misunderstanding? thanks alot.

i not tt seasoned.... all my online pix got watermark....

all my photos got model release and i keep an original of the image file to prove that the exif and all belong to me ....

erm.. if post online.. must prepare that sure will get instances of the pic getting stolen or posted on some notorious websites.

watermark faintly near the face,neck or chest area since that's wat draws ppl's attention most. Don't over do it though.. (BIG OBVOIUS AND OPAQUE) this will only deter some from stealing it to claim as their work. the other group purely interested in 'sharing' pretty faces wun give a damned and they will not take the photos down until they are being discovered.

oh yah.. i newbie also. just to share my views on what might work.
