1. in what area is critique to be sought?
I would like to have feedback on the composition, photography technique, and areas of which I can improve on to further enhance this image.

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
I hope to have feedback to further enhance my skills in photography.

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
This picture is taken with a Canon 40D 100mm Macro Lens on a tripod and remote release. A single speedlight with a blue gel on the side to luminate the surface of the water and another speedlight with a DIY snoot grid at the base with a pale gold gel. The water was dripping into a fish tank about 15% filled with water.

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
I like the overall effect and composition. But somehow feels that the image could have been further improved.

Thanks to everyone for their comments.

nice shot

just a little suggestion, if the top round waterdrop is separated from the oval waterdrop below, it'll be nicer :)

Thank you. I shall try to attempt that in the future. =)

Cool! Sorry for asking this question, does it require a macro lense to get this type of shoot?

Ya i think it requires a macro lens to the shot. I used a 100mm macro lens (NON-L).
