Wanna get a digicam.. any recommendation ??

Read up on cams before u buy and narrow down to the best ones. Look at the photo samples c if its to ur liking. Since u can easily get a good 4mp cam with more features (maybe not so compact) with 400+ too.
Minolta XT is a 2003 model and discontinued if its selling around 400+ then they're clearing their stocks, hmm it's a good price. Up to you, look around, for me I'll steer clear from Casio, Panasonic models though, noisy watercolour nightshots (from experience).

Actually i saw auction got pple selling abt 400, Minolta XT in Black.. come with extra battery and camera case, good deal ??
try shops like MS Color, Alan Photo, Cathay Photo, John 3:16 for better pricing........

XT=2003 XG=2004 sounds good if u intend to get the tiny cam, note the XG is a downgraded version of XT (read the reviews). If u want more features, power, flexibility and quality u can stick to the canon ixus and A series A75 80 etc selling around the same price. Worth a look before u finally decide.
I'll say sgd400 for a 1 -2 yr old camera isn't that good a deal since who knows when it might KO, shortened lifespan etc

then go for the canon a series (budget series). i have a powershot A70 which i use when going out with friends.
the powershot A95 / A85 looks good, however it's out of your budget. u can consider the A400... within your budget

Just found out ur a gal. no wonder u keep wanting minolta haha. My ex gf used to bug me for a sony u10 (small and v cute) and P2 because its cute, but now lost BOTH sigh.
In this case Minolta Xg would be just fine since its stylish. Remember to post some pics here.
