1. in what area is critique to be sought?
-Lighting, Contrast and colour.

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
-Ermz, trying to show some simplicity as well as the unique architecture in the past.

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken?
-This photo was taken just after rain..

This is a safe shot, which you, me and probably a lot of others have taken before. Nothing much could possibly go wrong with a shot like this.

To capture the architectural quality of the building, you are not close enough because in essence, its the window details you are aftering. Let the window fill up half the frame. Show its, show its texture. Then fill up the other half of the frame with the bright yellow wall. There, you get a juxtaposition in an instant. Its should be much better graphically. I do feel its a tad over saturated though, taking into consideration that the facade is drenched from the rain.
 

Don't really see much in the photo. I also don't see the unique architecture in the past mentioned in the photo as well. There is nothing to critique or compliment in the photo.
