EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM Lens
EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM Lens

Your 24-105mm seems nice. It's a bit slower than your 24-70mm but the IS will help. I think being stuck to focal lengths over 70mm is a bit restrictive...
That would be my pick anyway. :)

must take note on the weight for both also.
Wouldn't want to walk around carrying something heavier

Why don't you consider the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM? I know it's not an L, but in terms of picture quality, it will give the L a run for it's money.

personally, all your 3 choices, after 1.6 crop factor, not v exciting.

a walk around lens is traditionally/usually a "standard" zoom, usually 28-70 (full frame) or 18-55 (smaller sensor).

if u still ve your kit lens, it works great.

I think the 17-55 f2.8 IS would be a better walkaround lens. 24mm is a bit too tele, especially for some landscape and building shots.

24-70mm without a shadow of a doubt. 70-200mm are huge...not sure you wanna be carrying that around all day. i think the important thing to consider is what kind of distances do you usually shoot at? if you're in for closeups, you might even consider wide angles. if you prefer shooting from medium distances, the 24-70 is perfect.
