Commendable effort, quite funny. :bsmilie: But it doesn't sound natural to the ears given our dialect background. Plus the ability to churn out new words based on literal translation from Chinese, Hokkien, Cantonese, Teochew can't really match up.

So that still leaves a gap. ;p

Still sounds a lot more natural than Alan Wu trying to speak Chinese. :p

Heh. Maybe the Immigration dept should include this as a test for would-be S'poreans. You all can speak Singlish or not ah? :bsmilie:

Ha.. Funny. Wow, fantastic! The ang mo young guy can really imitate good Singlish!

Another thing for sure is, the other boy in red speaks much better English than most Singaporeans. And he looks pretty young.

Anyone knows what event that was?

From the what was said in the clip, probably some "International Day" at the International Canadian School (ICS)?

The other boy in red? Erm, well isn't it expected that he speaks English better than most S'poreans? I may be generalising, though. :p Actually, we have got quite a problem here. Many S'poreans cannot speak English properly. And Many S'porean Chinese cannot speak English AND Mandarin properly.
