Hi CSers,
I'm posting on behalf of a buddy who, together with a couple of other volunteers are planning a half day photo trail around one of the oldest estate in Singapore on the 16th of Nov, Sat, 0830 - 1300hrs.
The main purpose for this, other than allowing them to have a day of fun, is to let them have a chance to learn and enjoy photography. At the same time, we are attempting to let them see a side of Singapore that they might not usually get to see.
We are expecting about 20 participants from Special Olympics and are looking for 13 - 15 volunteers to pair up with them for this trail. Each volunteer will partner one participant to assist and share some photography techniques, interact with them and more importantly, to have fun!
Interested parties kindly send an email to thevolunteerswitchboard@gmail.com with your name and contact number and well get back to you with more information.
More information about the beneficiary:
Special Olympics Singapore (a non-profit organization dedicated to providing sports training and competitions for persons with intellectual disabilities, giving them opportunities to develop physical fitness, self-esteem and confidence, and become productive and respected members of society)
