Greetings to all teachers and students!

Following the overwhelming success of the 2008 and 2009 events, Victoria Junior College's Photography Society and Canon Singapore are pleased to collaborate again to offer this unique photography event to student photographers and enthusiasts!

This year, the Canon EOS Academy will launch the EOS Academy Portal, a brand-new web-based portal to allow student photographers from Singapore schools to share photos, network and learn techniques, tips and tricks of the trade from professionals. Media Club/AV/Photographic Club Teachers - it'll definitely be worthwhile to see how to register your school on the portal.

This year's Expose will encompass a new segment - video SLRs! As such, we have a local photo-videographer, Mr Yeo Wee Han to guide students through using video DSLRs like the 550D and the 7D. 15 participants will be selected at the end of the talk for a special hands session as well.

Besides this, this year's EOS seminar will also see Mr Bob Lee, a well-known photographer and photojournalist with MyPaper. He will introduce to us his world of "Photojournalism".

This year's EOS EXPERIENCE DAY will have 4 stations: Tele/Sports, Action, Cars and Studio. As with previous years, they'll be no jostling with the public to get your chance to try out many of Canon's professional SLRs and lenses since this event is only open to registered students and teachers! They will be instructors at each station to guide participants through should they face any difficulty handling the equipment as well.

Participants may bring their own Canon DSLRs to try them out with the Canon lenses on hand! They are also STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to bring their own CF/SD cards should they want to keep the images/send them for printing.

As always, they is a Printer station where participants will receive a free A4 size print. Canon Singapore is also proud to provide free cleaning services for participants with Canon SLRs.

All participants will be given a free Canon goodie bag and are entitled to take part in a "Tele-hunt" competition using Canon tele lenses, with attractive prizes to be won!
