Vivitar Telephoto 100mm f/3.5 Macro?

Hi all,

for those who are into macro, it seems that the Sigma 105mm, Tamron 90mm and Canon 100mm (for canon users) are the popular choices.....i read in dpreview that Vivitar Telephoto 100mm f/3.5 Macro is worth a try for those really on tight budget.........it costs about US$150 new at B&H.....

a search in CS showed nothing.........is the Vivitar Telephoto 100mm f/3.5 Macro available here in S'pore? if yes, which shop and how much?

is the quality (be it built or optic quality) that bad that noone here in CS is using it for macro?
