Vivitar 4 elements 2x teleconverter

I have a Canon EOS 550D with EF-S 18-135mm and 75-300 III USM lenses.

I wonder if the Vivitar 4 elements 2x teleconverter will work with the above items.

Any views will be greatly appreciated.

i doubt if you can fit your EF-S coz of the protruding thing on the lens mount...

but you can use your EF, but i doubt if it can still AF...

do you already have this lens?

No I have not purchased the 2x teleconverter as yet. I want to be absolutely sure it will work on EF lenses first!

Most TC have problem working with EF-S lenses...

I have read several reviews on TCs and I have noted that they will not work with EF-S lenses.

I shall be quite content if they will work with an EF lens with Manual focusing.
