Visiting Nepal for r&r

Got a trip to Nepal in Nov 16. Any recommendations for good hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara? Not doing much trekking, just a r&r trip.

While in Pokhara, you can stay at Hotel Snowland near Fewa Lake, in Kathmandu there are several hotels in Thamel Area.

Thanks Aloks, will check out Snowland in Pokhara. Just transiting at Kathmandu this trip but may stay longer if and when I get a chance to go back to Nepal in future.

Hi, recently went to Nepal last december, the temperature there should be around 10 degrees-ish, you would only need a down jacket if you are going to trek to everest base camp. Highly recommend bringing some water purification tablets (can be bought in Guardian) as the tap water is not very safe, even after being boiled. Also prep yourself for consistent (but short) power outages, so always have a torch on hand. Have a safe trip!
