Hi ..

As you know US electricity voltage is 110V and SG is 230V. Is there any converter required when we use our electrical device (eg, battery charger) in US? or can we plug directly?

thanks... :)

Check the label on your battery charger. It should have all the information on permissible operating voltages. Note that Singapore power plugs won't mechanically fit into US outlets, so you'll need at least a mechanical adapter.

If you're staying in a hotel, can try to ask for a transformer, and you can use your 240v electrical products.

I did that in Japan.

Hope it helps :)

REMEMBER... get yourself a 3pin to 2pin converter... USA does not sell this type of thing. Not even the very big stores or electrical stores....
