Hi All,

I used my Circular Poralizer to take the following 2 photos, seems that the second pic has vignetting. Just wonder why?

I have an adapter tube, with a 62/58 step down ring...

No vignetting, so happy.

Can someone help please??

What lens were you using? What is your focal range (zoom lens I presume)?

can I confirm that u r using 58mm CP? If yes then definitely u get vignetting when u r not zooming. CP also thicker than UV filter. if u do filter stacking then u cannot runaway from vignetting

It's the same for 72mm CP filter too! Need to 1X zoom to fl 12mm, otherwise got V........

that sounds weird cause I dont find any vignetting with my 62mm CP. Actually FZ20 itself has a slight vignetting. :bsmilie:

Thanks a lot for sharing. Now that I recall the second photo is with CP stack on top of star-8 filter.

Don't ask me why, but just for the fun of it to see if there is any effect... :blah:
