yo,

a fren approached me to do video shooting for wedding. includes video shooting and editing. any kind soul can advise me the market for this? thanks a zillion. :dunno:

It depends on your kamcheng with your fren, normal market price I know of is about 700-900 on the average gears and skill level. High end gears like those used by media can go as high as 1500+ ......

Prices are usually determined by the quality and quantity of service.

Many companies offer wedding packages that include professional photo shoots and taking of professional wedding videos. These companies charge $1000 to $1500 or more depending on conditions like:

a. half day or full day shoot
b. quality of video camera used
c. amount of editing
d. total time spent (any deadline given eg. within 3 days)
d. VCD or DVD production (no. of copies)

So its really up to you. Not to mention you will be helping a friend.
