Video card question.

I'm looking to basically upgrade my com and get a new dell. What i was wondering is since i do alot of photo editing and watch videos on my com is a higher end video card needed or is the basic motherboard integrated video card more than enough for what i need? I currently run and use lightroom and CS3 on my laptop...was thinking of getting 2GB ram for the new desktop that i mentioned...is 2 gb enough? (note i don't play pc games or video edit and i don't intend to start either)

Integrated (those that support shared RAM) should be ok for photo editing and watching movies. 2Gb system RAM should be ok. Good to have a fast SATAII drive for videos.
