My fren is looking for a G-plate registered car/van for his business.

any recommendations?
hopefully it's reasonably big and must fall under class 3.(g plate is class 3 right?)

yes, G-plate only need class 3...

i have a van register under photography business too

but the COE for van is very high these days....car may be more worth it.

unless his mileage is very high, then he can save on cheaper diesel cost

which brand ah?

renault kangoo?

it really depends on what he/she wants to carry in it

9ft backdrop? then must choose a van that is able to put it in

For vans, nowadays so many nice looking Fiats Diablo is it? can put seat behind somemore... I always thought cannot maybe that was then looks like almost all of these vans have seats at the back already, factory fitted I think.

kangoo should be in your AVOID list :bsmilie:

if $$ is no issue, VW caddy should be the best around with ample space for storage and even DSG like the VW Golf GTI!

Mine is Fiat Doblo. i like the design and it is spacious in its class. Very good FC (1100km per 60L tank on the old 1.9L engine). The 1.3L version should easily reach 1300km per tank! Also, the after-sale support from Fiat is much better IMO compare to other brands.

The AD for Fiat van is specialised in van only while other brands also do cars....so u can expect who they will pay more attention during servicing. I have heard of many unhappy stories from my friends who are driving other brands, however so far so good from Fiat.

If you don't need too much storage space, can also consider Fiat Fiorino, Opel Combo...etc
