UV and Cir. Polariser

Hi,

I have a UV and a Cir. Polariser filter.

Is it okay to use both at the same time? I used to have the UV fixed permanently to my lens. Now that I have bought the Cir. PL, should I use both together for most shots or should I just stick to the Cir. PL?

I think you understand both have a differnt purpose.

No harm in using both at the same time. You will not want to use a Cir.Pol. all the time but the UV can live on your lens.

Only potential issue with using both is with wide angle lenses have multiple filters can cause light fall off. This happens when the depth of the filter rings start blocking light from entering the camera... Noth serious however... Just might mean some dark edges on your shots...
