Using manual lens

Anyone prefer using a manual lens or using an AF lens manually as opposed to using AF?http://singaporephoto.blogspot.com

Depends on what I'm shooting. For macro, I normally would focus manually... much faster and more accurate than AF. Otherwise, it's AF all the way....

yeah, me too.... its faster with AF. but have a manual lens for my macro shooting

or when it's low light and I know the lens will hunt forever before settling... that's when I prefer manual focussing.

i started with eos650 many yrs ago then used manual for many yrs till recently using d70 n now 350d. thinking of using manual lens but not many available now.
