there is this thread under canon sub-forum here about using AEB when camera is in Manual mode.

http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=485807

after checking online canon dslr manual for 1000D, 400D & 40D, it is stated AEB can be used when camera is in manual mode. according to another forum, the CS2 gets strange results but another person get correct results.

shutter speed was adjusted while aperture and iso remains unchanged, though this is not stated in the user manual for the 3 cameras mentioned. i confirm this with my 40D.

I would like to know if Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Sony, Fuji can activate AEB while the camera is in Manual mode. if so, which parameter did the camera adjusted?

just found out in the manual for canon D60 (pg 79), it is stated that AEB in manual mode, shutter speed will be the one adjusted. tested this to be true since i have this camera.

For my 1DII, shutter speed change. ISO and aperture remain constant.

Interesting info from HDRsoft - the maker of Photomatix HDR software. While looking for AEB parameters on various cameras, I came across this link from HDRsoft.

Take a look at Canon camera list and you will noticed interesting information on 60D and 70D...
