ok, I think my question is abit contradicting. What I actually mean is about "an art form" as what justarius brought up. Hmm I'm getting more replies, and it's leading me somewhere.

the preserving of my memories & experiences.....
as one goes thru life, it's inevitable to forget things....
Photography to me is just a way i preserve my memory, to prevent myself from forgetting my various experiences, people around me, etc...
