USB memory card troubles

Hi I'm a Sony A300 user,
... only recently unable to access my memory card on the PC via USB to camera. Previously fine...
The thing is my memory card is recognised and I can 'safely remove hardware' but it does'nt appear on my computer...
tried to check 'Computer Management' but it doesn't turn up.
Anyone has the similar problem?

The simple and efficient way to solve your problem is to purchase a card reader. They're inexpensive and usually faster than using the camera's USB port.
