USB drain power quickly

Hi Hi,

Just noticed that if I plug my D300 to the USB port of my laptop, it drain power very quickly on the cam. While, I can keep the cam power on all the time, without any power drain. Once I plug in to a USB port overnight, the whole almost fully charged battery is drain, totally.

So, watch out for it. If not neccessary, don't plug your D300 to USB port and left it there.

Yeah...Have huge problems with my D200 on USB cable connected to com when I go travelling and have no space for adapter.Can suck an entire battery within 2-3hrs if you are not careful.

what for use usb when can use card reader?
its better too.
card reader spoil can change.
built-in usb reader spoil need to repair, so troublesome!! =/

Some times I lazy to take out card reader and often forget to bring to school where I do editing most of the time since my school has larger Mac screens which are less tiring to look at for long periods of time.
