Hi Everyone!!!

Uniquely Orchard Committee is organising our first official trial shoot.
Details are as followed:
Date: 22nd Jan 2005
Time: 9am - 3pm
Meeting Venue: Outside Orchard MRT station (Exit near Wisma, opp. CK Tang)
Desc: Capture a panoramic moment of Orchard Road by taking a series of shots simultaneously. A joint effort of the group of photographers to take the shoots together. Will stitch indiv shot together to form the final picture.
No. of Photographers: 30

Please note that Uniquely Orchard committee will assist in guiding the distancing and levelling of cameras/tripods. Equipment/things required for photographers:
1. 35mm camera
2. tripod with max height of at least 1.4m (preferably w/o center column extended)
3. pen/pencil for recording recordsheet.

Oh Yeah!!! Films will be provided for free.

Should I add that participants should "perferably" bring lenses covering 35mm and 50mm focal lengths?

Although at least one of the 2 focal lengths will do just fine

We regret to announce that the trial shoot has been POSTPONED to next saturday 29th January 2005, 9am -1pm. This is due to the feedbacks we received that this long weekend has been reserved for other schedule/family trips.

LATEST UPDATE:

We'll be conducting trial shoot this coming saturday, 29th Jan 2005 with both DIGITAL SLR and 35mm Film camera.

Requirements for DSLR:
1. Crop factor of either 1.5 (e.g. Nikon D70) or 1.6 (e.g. Canon 10D)
2. no less than 6Megapixels

Requirements for lens:
1. 50mm
2. 70mm
Note: prime or zoom are acceptable; these lens are needed for both digital and film cameras
