Unfilled warranty is valid....?

Hi, just a question here regarding the unfilled warranty card for lenses, cameras,....

Will it be valid although the equipments were bought 3 years ago say the official warranty period is only for one year? :dunno:

If so, what should we produce to the service centre, the original receipt or request for a new one from the merchant? :think:

This question has been asked and discussed for many times.

I guess the best person to ask and definitely give you a firm question would be the manufacturers themselves. If you have Canon cameras or lenses, suggest Canon Singapore, and if Nikon camera or lenses, suggest Nikon Singapore, if you have Olympus camera or lenses, then Olympus Singapore, etc.

Most would require proof of purchase.Anyhow, they do serial no. tracing so what do you think?
