Umbrella softbox shaft replacement

Hi guys, wanted to post this question under Lighting section but I thought here have more viewers to address my question.

My collapsible umbrella softbox has this centre "shaft" or "stick" that holds the umbrella in place. But it has just malfunctioned. So I want to ask if anyone knows how to repair it or anywhere I can get a replacement without getting a new softbox?

Can you pull the latching part out with a plier so that it locks into place??
