sorry i may sound offthread but the sandisk extreme III 2 GB is now retailing at S$320 at Cathay Photo....

for S$55 more, you get a lot more speed in writing /reading and better performance in extreme weather.

Maybe you can wait until I buy it after CNY. I got damn good experience with TwinMOS SD 66x card, transfers damn fast.

But this got nothing to do with brand? I had an Ultra II die on me before during a shoot halfway... It's just a matter of luck...

If can wait better to wait till computer show to get the Extreme III.
Price for Extreme III already dropped significantly liow but now maybe no stock, especially the 4Gb ones.

kingston and sandisk which brand is better? by comparing the prices on hwz, elite pro is cheaper than ultra II, though read/write speed abit slower, but kingston got lifetime warranty wor. wondering how come nobody mention bout kingston cf cards?

ok the title is ultra II la, but can someone enlighten me whether kingston is gd too? wanna buy cf card but duno which to choose...

elitepro not very fast the read speed. i use centrino laptop there is a marked diff bet elitepro and ultraII hehe
