I got this link during one of my church's organised classes on Cosmology, Chronology, Anthropology & Eschatology.

If you look closely at the first animated gif, the 2nd plane crashed into the tower at quite a speed (imagine you are crashing the plane and you would up the thrust and slam at tower at say about 600km/h or more) but this object is moving at a much much higher speed.
