Typing Japanese Words in Adobe Photoshop

I've tried to set the Japanese language bar in Windows XP like I would with Chinese language... but I can never type out the Japanese words in Photoshop...:dunno:

Any gurus got it working in your photoshop without installing any Japanese fonts? :think:

use software like NJstar, then import the text in...

Just realised that Version 7 doesn't allow this but CS2 perfectly ok... sighz... have to re-install all my settings and plugins... then have to calibrate monitor etc... argghhh..;(

Works for CS... typeface same as the standard IME fonts. Some Japanese fonts off the web looks weird on CS.

Set your Windows to use Japanese for Non-Unicode programs in Regional Options under Control Panel
