hey nice shots!!

i'm wondering if the second shot could be taken with an angle that didn't include the second branch protruding on the right? so it'll be like a solitude dragonfly on a solitude branch with a single sun? ahhaha geez sorree if i sound stupid.

really nice photos. Where did you take these beautiful shots may I ask?

Sorry but have to correct your english. Should be "two different look".

Hmm.. good valid point and probably if the dragonfly can be in the sun too..

but I guess probably no enough time to recompose. The timing window for sunset is very short.

Thank for all your comments and pointer.
Yup,it was hard to compose with the strong sunlight in the viewfinder and the dragonfly keep flying here and there.
And the sun is setting v.fast.

nice silhouette shots.
too bad u couldn't compose your picture such that the branch doesn't obscure the complete view of the sun. (my beginner's viewpoint)

and the dragonfly wing also blocking a bit.

But very nice.

U can share with us the tech details u used to create such nice tones? :dunno:

Thanks in advance :D

feel if u can crop out the part of second pic with dragonfly and the sun on the right would be nice^^

anyway,.........the pix are still

Thk for you point and comment, noted.
I luv silhouette shot esp. during sunset,Check out my gallery for more sure shot :)
As for the tone, nothing special was done.It look almost as it is straight out of the camera, just auto level, add a little contrast and USM.
