Yeah I guess so, it's actually a shot of my motorcycle piston, which unfortunately detonated and melted due to insufficient lubrication.

For this shot I wanted to focus more on the texture of the melted and twisted metal than anything else. Do you think the composition is wrong? Sound this be considered abstract?

Nothing wrong with the composition, just the title doesn't quite suite the pic. When I 1st saw it I was trying hard looking for the twisted metal.

Actually... the lighting makes it very hard to identify it as metal...
