Wah, very accurate!
I got my CP995 in Jun 2001, so it is about 1 year 8 months, 6500+ shots taken, 1 pixel prone to getting hot/green (if I hold it in focus lock position for a few seconds before actually shooting), otherwise still ging strong.

My first digicam Canon ixus lasted for around 1.5yrs. But ever since I got posted to Perth for my onjob training.
I had change 3 cameras in 12 mths.
The selling price in perth are so high. I could pactically buy a new camera in Singapore, play it in Perth and selling the camera away after 2 mths and still make some money (sometimes break even).
Imagine selling your camera in Spore. I would have atleast lose out 30% of my original buying price.

I bought my Olympus C700UZ 1 years plus 2 months ago. Don't think i will buy another camera for at least the next 1 year plus.

I'm using my Canon Powershot S10 ....for three years.....!!!!!already... Used it with my two Nimh Original Batteries.....so far....still working okay ....but occasionally shutter giving some problem......too many shots i think....average 20 per day.....for 3 years.....hmmm....21900shots????
Another Digicam?....maybe later lah.....

my dimage5's been wif me for 1yr 3months 5days now already. and counting. probably will get another digicam but cheaper...and smaller but wun be sellin de d5
My Sony F55 has been with me since Dec 1999 Still use it for occasional fun shots.
