Some photos taken at a Tulip Festival in Melbourne last year.

i really like the three photos. how big is the field? and what is that thing at the background that looks like a scarecrow?

The thing in the background is actually a Dutch-style windmill.

Beautiful tulips shots!

But no.6 seems to have a bit of flare there....

When is this festival normally held?

Thanks! :) Yeah, no.6 has a bit of flare but the endless rows of tulips in the background is just too nice to leave this pic out.

This tulip festival is held every spring (mid-Sept to mid-Oct) on the outskirts of Melbourne. It's actually held on a real tulip farm run by Dutch migrants. Check out www.tulipfestival.com.au
