Truly Enchanted!

I don't know if you can actually like a movie this much, but I'm really head over heels for Enchanted. It's such a cute and almost PERFECT disney movie for just about everyone - all this from a guy!

Amy Adams was so adorable in her role as Giselle, made so believable with her Disney-esque mannerisms and dialogue. And it also helps that she is amazingly cute... :lovegrin:

Growing up on Disney classics like Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, etc.. this movie was such a nice refresher to the warm, fuzzy feelings the past movies brought to me as a kid.

So if you haven't seen it, I really really suggest you do, you'll be pleasantly surprised.. and for those who have and really liked it like I did, do drop your comments on it too =)

(to those who think i sound gay....hmm..i don't care! hahahah!)

One thing about Disney: their ending is always the same thing. Happily ever after.

It'd their corporate philosphy. They once did an animation where they remained faithful to the original tale, with a tragic ending and viewers so so disturbed that Disney quickly re-released another version with a happy ending. It's been happy-ever-after since then. Expect nothing less...or more.

Overall I thought it was ok...fairly entertaining in some parts but nothing truly outstanding really...the concept is pretty cool tho. It could have been made better, e.g more slapstick sequences involving the clash of fairy tale and real world could have been introduced, it got a bit draggy and predictable towards the end. I watched the movie with my friend...initially he mistakenly thought that it was a typical cutesy Disney cartoon animation and wanted to throttle me for watching this kinda show. :bsmilie:

I liked the traditionally done animation part at the beginning...it brought back memories of the good ol' days when Disney 2D animation ruled the box office back then...movies like Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King etc., which I grew up watching. To me 2D animation has a certain appeal which 3D animation nowadays does not seem to match up with.

I like the squirrel, especially when he is telling the story to the prince..
