trouble with view finder

hi i got a 2nd hand 350d just to play with it.

unfortunately when i look thru the view finder it seems to be quite blur even after focusing...
any idea how to adjust to make image look clearer thru the viewfinder?
pictures taken are fine

there is a diopeter somewhere near to the view finder...adjust tat n it should solve the prob..
