Oh yeah. There r thin and thick ones.

Last night I took one from MBS. high class area mah, so they give the thick ones. Lol

It has a very durable feel. Lol

I think using this plastic tubes is the best solution protecting the tripod, compare to having to strip legs, wash and all that.

Where got time???!!

I don't know where you got your Giottos but when I had mine in the UK, it came complete with a manual on how to strip it down.. But it was the 3XXX series.

I got at changi airport. Going holiday and forgot to bring mine. So told myself since im gonna buy new tripod might as well buy the highend.
