Hi G2 and non-G2 users,

Any recommendation for a good tripod for G2? One that is value for money and reasonable good. :)

Not sure of other brands. Slik tripod, bot mine from CP. Average but solid for amateur like me!. I think the color match your G2.

me also got G2 and i'm using SLIK U6600. Got it at $45 from CP. Maybe u can try both U8000 and U6600 to see which one is suitable for u.

I'm a ex-user of Slik U8000 and I like it very much for its weight (light) and can be carry ard easily. Oso, the height of the tripod suit mi just fine.

not sure if the SILK 6600 comes with a bag. (the SILK 8000 on promotion comes with a bag among other free gifts).

I either sling my tripod or attach it to my backpack when I go for photoshoot.

U6600 doesn't come with a bag. Like wat mpenza does, I sling my tripod and it's easy to carry coz it's light.

Is the promotion found only in certain shops? Anywhere i can check that out other than going down personnally? :)
