Trekking up to Mt Everest Base Camp

Hi Guys,

I will be trekking up Mt Everest Base Camp this Dec Hols.

Just wondering what camera is suitable/appropriate.

Advisable to bring along my 40D?
Or should i get a 'tough' PNS cam? ie canon D10, olympus Mju tough.

Only the base camp? Most DSLRs will be fine. I suggest bringing along extra batts, memory cards and maybe one of those collapsible solar chargers.

a simple PNS will be fine.

but i recommend bringing a manual film camera anyway....in case the more modern cameras lcds freeze up and not all pns have viewfinder nowadays.
