About the speaker
Jino Lee started his career as a musician and gradually progressed to become a sound engineer, a career that span over a decade. A twist of fate in 2003 saw him taking up photography and he quickly learn the rope by assisting in 2 commercial studios before venturing on his own in 2005, shooting mostly events and weddings. But his true passion in photography always lies in travel photography especially in people and culture. In 2006, he was hired as resident photography instructor with Canon Singapore and the rest, as they say, is history.
Jino has been commissioned by Tourism New South Wales, Sri Lanka Tourism Bureau and many Corporate and Private Organization, which takes him all over Asia. His work has been published in Practical Photography, Frequent Traveler, Photo You, 8 Days and Malaysian Tourism Board. Many of his pictures are currently used in the official ticket for Sri Dalada Maligawa Kandy Tooth Relic Temple in Sri Lanka.
He was once quoted by an editor to be an instructor that could walk his talk. Since 2006 over 17,000 participants have attended his training programs, workshops and seminars, both locally and overseas. Today he still continues to teach with passion and occasionally travel for assignment within Asia.
