I still single and I brought the Travel Insurance yesterday. If I dies, the $ will go to who? By default, my mum (cause my dad passed away). Am I right?

it's better to have a WILL, so that the paperwork will be easier.
Cause I no put who is the beneficiary as there are no column for me to fill. I think by default, should be my mum.

Why don't you ask the company? It should be part of the usual fine print.

what has buying travel insurance anything to do with (touch wood and i bet you're hinting this) committing suicide?? the most common-sensicle thought would be to expire while on holiday

It''s best if you get a life insurance instead. I mean you will never know... A plane could crash into your apartment, the elevator may plummet down with you in it, the bus you are riding on might explode, your colleague might try to kill you and so on...

TS focus on the case of him not coming back alive and the resulting default beneficiary is a bit unusual. My common sense would tell me to ask about the services / cases / situations / countries covered.
