*WEATHER PERMITTING*, Total Lunar Eclipse visible from Singapore on Saturday, 4 April 2015 from 7:07pm when Moon rises from the eastern horizon.

My astro friends and I will be observing this eclipse near Bishan Park McDonald's. Will we be bringing our telescopes as usual for stargazing and sharing the views with the public.

Come join us with your family and friends if you are interested. Free of charge of course.

Great time to practice your night shooting skills. Can be quite challenging to get good exposures as Moon goes from total eclipse to bright full Moon again.

Update (6 Apr 2015):

Heavy rain on eclipse day at around 6pm+. By 8pm no rain but still cloudy. Manage to see Moon around 8:30pm till all the way full moon again.

Huge turnout even when the skies were still totally clouded!
