you missed out the President,....
btw, their monthly salaries are definitely NOT the above, and they are tax-exempted.
many CEOs in our listed companies are paid a few millions per annum.

PM made 4mil per year if im not wrong...

you are wrong la. President makes about $3M. MM, SM, PM about 2+ million while minsters 1+ million. Perm sec makes upward of 500K.

And, pple in QC do not stand around and test every electronic component. It's a very high pay of $5K just to stand and test every component. Your television and electronics will probably cost more if that's the case. QC engineers devise statistical ways to test certain number of product at certain spots along the production process to ensure that there's is the lowest probability of manufacturing a faulty one, amongst one of their job scope. You might complain about faulty stuff, but let me assure you, if there's no QC engineer devising ways to improve the process or where to test, the number of defective product u get will be more and no manufacturer dares to offer u 1 year warranty unless u pay a lot for it..
And students being students, are not engineers, what they do is not reflective of whether the engineer is sleeping or not or deserving of the pay or not. QC engineers are not as useless as some pple think...and i am not a QC engineer, just wishing to correct some erroneous thinking.

We all see a lot of things and pple write a lot on forums too, but do put some thoughts into them instead of spouting rubbish after taking in things at face value, cos more often than not, they are not.

this list is a joke. for the last few years the highest paid job was "specialised surgeon" at ard $30k. now apparently specialised surgeons have been deleted from the list of professions altogether.

:bsmilie:

they forgot the bankers and property agents.

Bankers and property agents can earn up to $40k to $120k per month
