Hi everyone,

Anyone of you out there own this lens or use it b4?

Care to share some? How is it performance?

Cos thinking of getting one as Cathay having it promo now.

Cheap lens, decent for shooting vacation and record pix. Has a slight yellowy-green color cast and distortion at full wide, but if you're not fussy, it's a good buy. I find it too irritating for my work use, so have switched to a better lens. But then again, I'm very fussy about my work pix. ;p

Sigma 18-50 performs as good as it for a much lower price, but sigma is less well built. But it's so cheap that you would not be worried if it breaks, be more worried about the body.

Else if you are on digital, 18-70DX is good. Nowadays can get at $400-425 for a very new one.
